It would seem that no matter how big the India Runway Week gets, there you will always find fresh new names. Of course, the old designers continue every season. This is the 10th season of India Runway Week which is starting from 20th of April 2018. This 3-day long fashion event has a long list of celebs as showstoppers too.
My life's a lesson! And I have learnt that whatever happens 'it goes on' ! So, try your best to make it worthwhile even if you are declared a failure. Because it is said, "After every dark night...The sun still shines in the morning". And the darker the night is, the brighter the morning seems! Got A Question? Ask It. my.silent.days.are.almost.over. Watch me break, watch me fall, meet the girl that lost it all. Cheers! xoxo

Vami to transcend the future of modern women clothing...
In a hustle bustle of daily life, it is not easy for most of the people sticking to a regular physical activity in routine. If say about India, the situation is more acute for women. They excel in almost everything but overlook their own selves. Most of the times the reason is not the desire but the uneasiness to do the physical activities in the ordinary clothing.

Fabbag July 2016 - Review
Hey Lovelies,
So here I am unboxing and reviewing July 2016 Fabbag for you all.
I was really excited for this month’s bag. It’s my fourth one from Fabbag and so far, the experience has been great. I love flaunting my bags everywhere I go. They are so handy that I can easily put them in my handbag and take along during my travels.
This month’s Fabbag is this ‘The Hello Gorgeous July Fabbag’. It’s navy blue in colour with pink lip impressions on the print. I love the feel of this bag; it’s leathery and adds to its quality. Inside the bag, I got 4 lovely products – 3 full-sized and 1 sample-sized. First impression of the entire bag was ‘wow!’ I tried them out excitedly. Here’s the product-wise review of what I found #InMyFabbag :
Johara Instant Radiance Face Scrub: The bag contains a 15 g sample of the product. The full-sized product comes in a package of 100 g and is priced at Rs 500. This face scrub is formulated with natural exfoliating ultra-fine walnut extract and a blend of lemon peel extract and neem oil to gently slough off dull skin layers, remove impurities and promote natural cell exfoliation. Brighten up lacklustre skin with this creamy formula enriched with CococinTM CG, a nutrient-rich extract from green, tender coconut water to rejuvenate skin, leaving it feeling clean, smooth and toned, for a simply radiant complexion.
It does have a fragrance of walnut and it left my skin feeling good after application.
Skin Yoga Coffee Body Scrub: The bag contains a full-sized 100 g product which is priced at Rs 845. The caffeine enhances fat metabolism and removes liquid and fat from your skin, ultimately reducing the appearance of cellulite and stretch marks. The natural oil moisturizes and nourishes your skin. This scrub also treats inflammation and protects your skin from sun damage. It is 100% natural body exfoliator, fragrance-free, preservative-free and paraben-free.
I applied it on my wet skin after shower as per the directions. After scrubbing it for 5 minutes, I rinsed it off. My skin felt softer instantly. The difference was indeed noticeable. I like the packaging too. It perfect to carry while travelling.
Pep Moisture Velvet Shampoo: The bag contains a full-sized 50 ml product which is priced at Rs 119. It is formulated with a blend of oat protein milk, the extra-nourishing formula is designed to restore moisture and give deep root nourishment. After a few uses, your strands will be softer and more manageable—which means you can spend less time fussing over your hair.
I have an oily scalp and thus, this shampoo was much needed for my hair. The hair fall was less and my hair felt smooth. Good product to try!
Sugar It’s A-Pout Time! Vivid Lipstick: The bag contains this awesome lipstick by Sugar. It’s Big Bang Berry shade and priced at Rs 599. Although, I already have this shade but I still love it. The month's shade selection is available to only 3, 6 and 12 month subscribers. Shade for one month subscribers is customised by the FabBag team.
I love sugar cosmetics. This shade is perfect for my complexion and every time I apply it; I get loads of compliments. It is long-lasting and doesn’t fades out.
In a nutshell, I liked all the products. My two favourites are Skin Yoga Coffee Body Scrub (Rs 845) and Sugar It’s A-Pout Time! Vivid Lipstick (Rs 599). The Fabbag can reach your doorsteps in Rs 599 or you can get a 10% discount and have it at just Rs 539. You can subscribe to this awesome monthly bag here: www.fabbag.com

Exploring 'FashionHutGirl' #BlingOn
So you always wanted to shine like a star... Accessorize like celebs! But worried about overdoing it? Or more still confused what to wear, what to match it with, how much to spend on it?
I have been exploring the market for a long time now and finally came across some great stores that are selling these trendy earcuffs and double pearl rings at an affordable price. Delivering at your doorsteps scores brownie points too! Yay!
Now who doesn't want to adorn some earcuffs this season... they have been ruling the fashion shows lately and our Bollywood Celebs love to flaunt them. So why should we be left behind? FashionHutGirl is one such store that operates from Instagram and Facebook to showcase their stuff and promise to deliver the products at your doorsteps (sometimes free of charge while at times, they do this at a nominal amount). This store is run by three vivacious Jain sisters - Kanika, Alika and Aanchal. Recently, they showered me with some of their exquisite pieces which I'm in love with.

The packaging was okayish but I liked the way they sent me the products with a personalized note. It adds to the delight of unpacking. The double pearl ring came in a box and I adored the quality. It looked beautiful on my finger and I'm sure you are aware of the fact that it is a hot-selling product and a must have for all fashion lovers. The cherry on the cake is the price that is just Rs. 175 (including shipping).

The earcuffs are glam and gradually becoming everyone's favorite. They can be paired with a traditional as well as a western outfit, perhaps that is their USP. They look ultra chic and pep up your looks in seconds. There are clip on earcuffs like the famous leaf earcuff that Deepika Padukone adorned in her recent appearances and there are simple dangling earcuffs. Both look stylish and are comfortable to wear. Have a look at these tempting designs that FashionHutGirl is offering at just Rs. 200. Yay or Nay?
If you are forever wondering how they would look on you, be assured they look fab on everyone. If you have doubts, best is to test it yourself. And it doesn't cost much so what are you waiting for? Go grab your earcuffs and double pearl rings and spice up your outfits to stand out among your friends.
Do send me your queries/suggestions and join my blog for more trend alerts at pocket friendly prices.

Black Metal Jewelry #AStudy #BlingOn
Though not emerged in India, this is fast venturing into the domains. Black metal jewelry generally is made of Black Ceramic that is a modern alternative for the traditional gold, silver and even platinum. Its cheap price and yet the unparalleled luster scores brownie points. Known for its glossy appearance, this looks exceptionally beautiful and classy. Also, it shows no sign of wear which adds to its demand. Many celebs have been seen flaunting their style in black metals. The midi rings are not left behind too. These pieces are readily available at any junk store. I have recently come across a lot of Instagram accounts selling these jewels at an affordable price.

I personally loved these pieces as not only they are pocket friendly but they are attention grabbers. The beautiful ear cuffs, neck pieces, midi rings, etc. are getting popular with the girls now-a-days. These can be paired with your western clothes and for college goes this is an utter bliss! While going for the monochrome trend if your pair one of these, of course you can never go wrong!
As the saying goes like, 'When in doubt, wear black'. So, go for it girl and for the girls who have creative instincts and like to live life over the edge, you can refer to these DIY videos and try making your own personalized jewelry. I am actually going to try some of these myself and I will be gifting them to my beautiful friends. Let me know if you tried them and how they turned out to be. Inbox, DM, or tag me in pictures. :) Get ready to bling on in the new trend!

How To Choose That Perfect Dress For Your Birthday!
Hi my
lovelies,
So today we
are going to talk about that perfect dress you have been searching for your
birthday or similar occasions. Being a girl, you ought to indulge in the
process of shopping but with rising mercury levels, you can’t afford to roam
around mindlessly from shop to shop. Need of the hour is to make this shopping
experience hassle free and at the same time, look your best on your day!
Shopping
smartly should be your key. You should also keep the following tips in mind
while looking for your special dress. You can treat it as your check list:
1) Know
your Body: While
shopping for a dress, you must be aware of your flaws. For instance, if your
arms are dull (or tanned) and you aren't feeling too confident about them, try
to look for an outfit that has transparent sleeves for a somber effect. Also,
if you have bulky thighs, you can consider avoiding tight jeans, instead go for
a long dress or pair your jeans with a long top. Try getting darker shades to
look slimmer.
3) Be
comfortable: Your
comfort should not be compromised with in any case. Even after wearing a
designer piece if you are dicey about it, it will immediately show on your face
and the whole effect will be lost in seconds. Comfort, therefore should be your
priority. Go for a one piece only if you are confident enough to carry it well.
Your dress should not look forced.
4) Don’t
forget to accessorize:
Accessories are a must but don’t overdo them. You might be willing to try the
long tussle earrings or the feather earrings that have been trending for a
while but make sure they suit your outfit and your face-cut. You can try adding
a watch to accentuate the look. Don’t wear too many jewels, for one, they add
to discomfort and two, they will make you look gaudy and the attention will be
dispersed. Also, choose the right bag to carry along.
5) Buy
the right size:
Don’t make the mistake of buying one size smaller to your actual size. That
won’t ever make you look slimmer, instead it will highlight your fat areas.
Always buy the best fit for your body. Also, buy according to your body type.
Not every dress will look good on you. For instance, jumpsuits look good but
only on tall and slim bodies.
6)
Pair with right Footwear: As important as the dress is, the
footwear can change the entire look. You can never wear sports shoes with a
gown or you will be the next rage in the ‘fashion faux pas’ columns. If you are
not too comfortable in pencil heels, try wedge heels. They look good and offer
a better support.
To avoid
the summer heat, you may want to try the online shopping. They have large
variety with proper information and reasonable prices too. But if you don’t
have much time then it’s best to avoid this option. Happy shopping, girls! Be
beautiful… Bling on… always and forever!
Love,
Ila Garg

Avon Naturals Milk & Honey Hamper #Review
I thought of indulging in some real goodness of Honey and Milk to nourish my skin when I got this perfect hamper from Avon Naturals. The packaging looked beautiful too. Inside, I found these 5 products from the all new range by Avon -
1) Naturals Nourishing Milk & Honey Hand & Body Lotion
2) Naturals Milk & Honey Nourishing Face Wash
3) Naturals Milk & Honey Nourishing Cream
4) Avon Nail Pro+ nail enamel - Golden vision
So, I started with the Face Wash. I took a very small bit and rubbed it on my wet face in circular motion for about a minute before rinsing with a lot of water. Then, I dried up my face with a hand towel. The results were amazing, I felt instantly fresh. It has a good fragrance. The company claims that this face wash is extremely gentle, removes dirt and impurities, and also instantly softens the skin. Ah! Yes... my skin did feel soft.
Quantity: 100ml
Price: 179 INR
Next, I applied the Nourishing Cream on my face and the aroma was so overwhelming. It was sweet and very natural, like drowning in honey and milk (literally)! It lasted for about a couple of hours, which makes it worthy of a try. It will be probably your best buy for winters, perfect for daily use. The cream kept my skin moisturized for the whole day. Best for people with dry skin, though others can use it too in smaller quantities. Perhaps, the only point that works against this is the heavy texture it has.
Quantity: 50g
Price: 219 INR
Then, I tried on the Hand and Body Lotion. It is mild to use, gentle and feels good on the skin. It is suitable for everyday use. It so easily gets absorbed in the skin and makes it look lovely and smooth. It efficiently restores the skin moisture. I loved it as it left my skin feel alive and yet it is non-greasy. My skin felt so soft and velvety and smelled like caramel (if you dislike the smell, then it can be one negative point because the smell is quite strong and lasts longer too). This is seriously the best product I have used in eons.
Quantity: 200ml
Price: 199 INR
Available: Flipkart
Let's come down to the nail enamel. It's golden vision! Who doesn't like gold? Well... I personally love this color, goes well with any kind of outfit. For starters, I liked the small, cute packaging - elegant and classy. The tinge is perfect, and the color comes out well on your nails in just 2 coats. It dries quickly and is shimmery. The tiny glitter particle make it look gorgeous and irresistible!
Quantity: 8ml
Price: 165 INR
The last one, is a lipstick from Avon Simply Pretty. If you are looking for a red lipstick in your budget, this is a recommended choice. The cherry red color is bright enough to make your lips stand out. Its texture and pigment is perfect for Indian Skin Tone. Though the pink packaging makes it look straight out of a Barbie Doll collection, which might be a put off for us ladies! But once you apply it, you will leave the bright color it leaves on your lips. Good news is it lasts for as long as 5-6 hours.
Quantity: 4g
Price: 189 INR
So, this whole hamper will leave you all glowy and beautiful this winter! A budget buy for sure, you might fall in love with some of these... Try it out :) Don't forget to let me know your opinions.
