Exploring 'FashionHutGirl' #BlingOn

The newest emerging trend is that of the black metal jewelry. So I decided to do some research on this latest rage in the world of fashion as asked by one of the followers on Instagram.

Though not emerged in India, this is fast venturing into the domains. Black metal jewelry generally is made of Black Ceramic that is a modern alternative for the traditional gold, silver and even platinum. Its cheap price and yet the unparalleled luster scores brownie points. Known for its glossy appearance, this looks exceptionally beautiful and classy. Also, it shows no sign of wear which adds to its demand. Many celebs have been seen flaunting their style in black metals. The midi rings are not left behind too. These pieces are readily available at any junk store. I have recently come across a lot of Instagram accounts selling these jewels at an affordable price.

I personally loved these pieces as not only they are pocket friendly but they are attention grabbers. The beautiful ear cuffs, neck pieces, midi rings, etc. are getting popular with the girls now-a-days. These can be paired with your western clothes and for college goes this is an utter bliss! Avon Naturals Milk & Honey Hamper #Review

I thought of indulging in some real goodness of Honey and Milk to nourish my skin when I got this perfect hamper from Avon Naturals. The packaging looked beautiful too. Inside, I found these 5 products from the all new range by Avon -

So, I started with the Face Wash. I took a very small bit and rubbed it on my wet face in circular motion for about a minute before rinsing with a lot of water. Then, I dried up my face with a hand towel. The results were amazing, I felt instantly fresh. It has a good fragrance. The company claims that this face wash is extremely gentle, removes dirt and impurities, and also instantly softens the skin. Ah! Yes... my skin did feel soft.

Next, I applied the Nourishing Cream on my face and the aroma was so overwhelming. It was sweet and very natural, like drowning in honey and milk (literally)! It lasted for about a couple of hours, which makes it worthy of a try. It will be probably your best buy for winters, perfect for daily use. The cream kept my skin moisturized for the whole day. Best for people with dry skin, though others can use it too in smaller quantities. Perhaps, the only point that works against this is the heavy texture it has.

Then, I tried on the Hand and Body Lotion. It is mild to use, gentle and feels good on the skin. It is suitable for everyday use. It so easily gets absorbed in the skin and makes it look lovely and smooth. It efficiently restores the skin moisture. I loved it as it left my skin feel alive and yet it is non-greasy. My skin felt so soft and velvety and smelled like caramel (if you dislike the smell, then it can be one negative point because the smell is quite strong and lasts longer too). This is seriously the best product I have used in eons.

Let's come down to the nail enamel. It's golden vision! Who doesn't like gold? Well... I personally love this color, goes well with any kind of outfit. For starters, I liked the small, cute packaging - elegant and classy. The tinge is perfect, and the color comes out well on your nails in just 2 coats. It dries quickly and is shimmery. The tiny glitter particle make it look gorgeous and irresistible!

The last one, is a lipstick from Avon Simply Pretty. If you are looking for a red lipstick in your budget, this is a recommended choice. The cherry red color is bright enough to make your lips stand out. Its texture and pigment is perfect for Indian Skin Tone. Though the pink packaging makes it look straight out of a Barbie Doll collection, which might be a put off for us ladies! But once you apply it, you will leave the bright color it leaves on your lips. Good news is it lasts for as long as 5-6 hours.

Whenever I think about bohemian look, Zeenat Aman of Dum Maro Dum fame pops up in my mind. Loose tunic dress, floral garlands, rudraksh as jewelry, bulky sunglasses and a carefree attitude towards life- this is something Indian Bollywood industry interpreted about the hippie culture popular in early 1960s and 70s. Bohemian looks that time didn’t include highly expensive gold and diamond jewelry for women but focused on earthy elements more.

 Although the bohemian style has been making entrances in fashion world, but this time it came with a boom in the Spring Summer 2015. You can spend hours going gaga over the stuff that they have got. The packaging was good too unlike some other stores that send the stuff packed in envelopes, they send the jewels in a nice box. It adds to the delight of unpacking. The midi rings looked so fab that I couldn't wait for an occasion to wear them and hurriedly tried them on. It was an absolute bliss! For fashion lovers, the bodychain is a must in the collection since it looks so perky. The cherry on the cake is the price of the products. The hamsa bodychain that I am presently crushing on is just Rs. 250 (worth every penny), the midi rings that look super cool are for just Rs. 250 too (isn't that awesome?), and the earcuff that can be paired nicely with a simple top and jeans to look trendy can be grabbed for Rs. 330. Yay or Nay?

This not only looks stylish but is comfortable to put on throughout the day. You must try this one to begin with.
